  1. Being a student and a garlic lover, I rarely have enough time to properly cook meals or in this case wait 40 minutes for my garlic to be roasted! Here’s how I prepare garlic and eat it with any food I feel needs a little more taste!

    First peel the garlic. Cut the cloves in half if they are large cloves, or make a slit in them if they are small.
    Then, place them in a small microwavable dish/bowl.
    Cover the cloves in the bowl with olive oil. Add a pinch of salt.
    Cover the bowl with saran wrap or a paper towel.
    Microwave for 1 minute. Let stand for a minute, and microwave again for an additional 40 seconds.
    Let cool.

    The garlic cloves are delicious, they are great to add on salads, meat and even bread!
